Data, data, data. Is it important? How is it used, and why? Does it make a difference? In this course students will learn about different types of data (i.e., quantitative, qualitative) and data visualizations. Join us in this interactive workshop as we work through different cases to understand how data can play a key role, and how storytelling is critical to influencing others and their decisions. Through instructor-led discussions, best practice demonstrations, and class exercises, students will walk away feeling more confident about how to leverage data to influence decision-making: make a case for a promotion, or convince a prospective client why a product/service is worth purchasing. Data plays a role!
