This course is designed to promote talent, educate students, and instill understanding and appreciation of small chamber music groups. Students will have the opportunity to virtually practice, and perform with various ensembles. Ensembles will include brass, string, and woodwind combinations formed into duets, trios, quartets, quintets, and a small chamber orchestra. Pianists, percussionists, and vocalists may enroll, participate, and perform with these and other ensembles. Members of current ensembles are welcomed to enroll. Students will learn basic recording techniques for their instrument and prepare a repertoire of different genres. Students also will participate in collaborate projects culminating in at least two different online concerts during the semester.
Not designed for beginners.
