
In this demonstration course, you will learn the basics of North Indian cooking with a focus upon the health benefits of a mainly vegetarian diet. Our first meeting will center upon different types of lentils/legumes and how they should be cooked. Our second meeting will discuss the methods to make different types of flat breads (Roti, Paratha), and types of grains and spices. We also will cover short-cuts and ideas to incorporate into your day-to-day cooking. At the end of each session, you may delight in tasting some samples of food discussed in class.
