Jewelry Design: Wire Wrap

New! Design and create gifts for special occasions, or simply for fun! Learn how to use silver wire to wrap a necklace, bracelet, and a set of earrings made of semi-precious stones, crystals, and pearls. Discussion includes where to purchase wires, and why certain stones are easier to work with when creating jewelry. $52 materials fee payable in class for semi-precious stones, crystals, pearls, precut silver wires, one long cable-chain, two ear wires, five headpins, and two clasps. Students need to bring a jewelry board or towel to keep stones from slipping, a round nose cutter, a flat nose plier, and a jewelry cutter (tools may be purchased from instructor for $7 each).
