Bridge players love bidding conventions, but only a few are considered essential for the modern game. In this course, we will teach and practice the fundamentals of the Stayman convention, Jacoby Transfer Bids, strong artificial opening bids, and conventions useful for staying out of bad slam contracts. We will cover the special rules for online play to alert the opponents when bids have special meaning.
