Chess looks difficult – but is it? If you ever have wanted to learn and understand the game of chess, this is your opportunity! Designed for those with little or no chess playing experience ready to learn the fundamental rules of the game, how the pieces move, and basic strategy. A brief history of the game also will be given as well as information about the many opportunities to play chess such as at free online sites or at local chess clubs where you may participate in events approved by the United States Chess Federation.
