New!Have you ever walked by a craft store and marveled at all the beautiful yarn colors and weights? Join us and learn the basics of knitting, the different types of yarn, knitting needles and accessories to use in any project, and the principal stitches. Learn how to measure and calculate how much yarn will be needed for any project, increase and decrease, make your own tassels and pom poms for hats, and how to create any shape to start and finish any project. Course projects include sample stitches, a scarf, a hat, and a child-size sweater.  Note: Students must provide their own materials. The supply list is available at:
