New!Yoga for Relaxation is a gentle yoga designed for beginners to well-versed yogis. We will practice yoga at an easy pace, grounding the mind through symmetrical floor stretching of left and right sides of the body coupled with simultaneous breathwork. All levels of accessibility are welcome, as every pose includes variations so that you may decide what works for you. This class will include Progressive Muscle Relaxation, breathing exercises, affirmations, body scanning and meditation techniques. Learn techniques to relax the mind and body that last a lifetime! Students must bring a yoga mat, and a notepad for weekly affirmation exercises. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. NOTE: Feet may be bare, or you may wear ballet or jazz shoes; NO STREET SHOES ON DANCE FLOOR!
